She was born in an elite Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan with the family of a Catholic family. She was accepted by her parents in the Convent of the Sacred Heart - a religious, elitist and private school. The music was her love since childhood. She began playing the piano at just a young girl. At thirteen she wrote her first tune. She participated in an open mic night. She was a fan of Queen Michael Jackson Madonna, as well as David Bowie. When she graduated from high school she enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of Art to pursue a degree in music.
